Back again, hopefully for good.

Well, it's been quite awhile since my last post and no one has noticed. The joys of being an unknown blog writer, I guess. I have a busy life, but I am going to try to spend a little more time doing this, maybe someday it will lead to something, if not, at least I vented my views in my own way.
Now, to the business at hand...The Phillies are 82-44 after a 10-0 beating of the Mets. Cliff Lee gets the win with 7 shoutout innings, giving up only 3 hits and striking out 7. Lee moves his record to 14-7 on the season.  I expect the Phils will look for another win tomorrow against the Mets when Vance Worley takes the hill looking for his 9th win in this his rookie season. Even though J-Roll is out with a groin strain, I expect the Phils to keep rolling on and get to 100 wins this season.
To change subjects, I have to address the Flyers changes they made this summer. Adding a top flight goalie like Ilya Bryzgalov,(henceforth to be called Bryz)will help big time with the overall goal of a Stanley Cup. Now, i know you will say he has never won a playoff series, but he's also never been on a team this good, either. Will trading Carter and Richards hurt? Maybe, but something had to change. They are both very talented and they can both score, but the chemistry was not there in the stretch run last season and it hurt the Flyers. Now this is Chris Pronger's team and there will be no nights off or lack of effort from this team going forward. Will Jagr have a good year? If he wants a good contract next year,he better. It will be an exciting year for the Flyers, hopefully a successful one as well.
The Eagles are still getting ready for the season that starts in 16 days, even though they looked bad last Thursday against the Steelers, I expect a better effort against the Brown at the Linc. It's still early, no time to panic yet, although I know it's hard for us Philly fans sometimes.
That's all for tonight. Remember, when you aren't feeling strong and brave, it could be a case of the Philly Flu.
