The Greatest Comeback EVER!

I just witnessed the greatest comeback in the history of Earth. The Flyers were down 3-0 in games against the Bruins and after Simon Gagne's OT winner, they were back in the series. They destroyed Boston in game 5,4-0. They won a tight game 6 at home 2-1. Tonight, they came out and were awful giving up 3 goals in the first 10 minutes. Then a rookie lead them back. Middletown,NJ's own JVR scored to make it 3-1 after 1. The flyers dominated the second and tied the score at 3-3. In a tight and tense 3rd period, it was back and forth until a Bruins too many men penalty gave the Flyers a PP which our hero Simon Gagne cashed in on with about 7 minutes to go. At that point, it was complete, down 3-0, tied at 3-3. Down 3-0 in game 7, only to come back to win 4-3. The journey isn't over, but Lord Stanley is closer than he was a week ago. No matter what happens against the Habs, the Flyers of 2010 will go down in history as a great team that would never quit. The city of Philadelphia is very proud of them. Rocky lives...

Chooch comes up big,Flyers coming home

This is my first blog, I figured everyone else has one, why not me? This space will be a place for Philly sports( baseball, hockey and football mostly) and whatever else I want to talk about.

Phils win tonight in 10 innings on a Carlos Ruiz homer. Cole Hamels pitched a great game, but ended up with a no-decision. It's good to see Cole get back on track and hopefully he will continue to improve.

On to hockey, the Flyers have a huge game tomorrow night at the Wac center. I expect them to come out flying (no pun intended) and look to get a lead, since they haven't lead at all so far this series. I had predicted the Flyers in 6 before the series and I'll stick with that. If they take care of business at home and can go back to Boston tied 2-2, I love their chances to steal game 5. But first things first, win tomorrow and send a message to the B's.

That's all for now, have to put the baby to bed.

Until later, beware the Phillyflu!
